We recommend you include the guest of honor's name, as well as the name of the host(s), a nice photo or design element from your theme, event details (such as location, time, and any other essential points), dress code, and how/when to RSVP. If the mother to be has a gift registry, you should also make note of that on the invitation.
Best practice would be to send out the invites a month, to a month and a half in advance, so that you can tally up an approximate count of attendees to finalize other elements of the baby shower. Do also consider if any guests may be flying in for the event from out of town, so that you may give them enough time to make necessary arrangements.
This depends on personal preference. We offer 30+ sizes for invitations, with the most popular ones being 4 x 6 (Standard), 5 x 5, and 5 x 7.
It usually takes anywhere from 2 to 8 business days for the length of print production, depending on the paper stock you choose. Standard shipping generally takes an additional 2 to 6 business days.
